Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are currently searching for a full time cover supervisor for a large Stockport Secondary School. The role is set to commence February 22nd.

Key responsibilities:

  • Distributing and delivering pre-set work in accordance with school curriculum
  • Managing the classroom, ensuring students behave accordingly and complete the assigned work
  • Reporting back to teachers in regard to students’ ability to complete tasks, any behavioural issues or problems during the lesson.
  • Setting up the classroom in preparation for the lesson
  • Responding and assisting students with any queries they may have during the lesson

Key Benefits:

  • Pay range from GBP60 - GBP65 per day  
  • Work in a large Stockport Secondary School
  • No additional responsibilities like marking or curriculum planning

The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working within schools as either a teaching assistant or cover supervisor, be educated to a degree level with intent to work in education or experience working directly with children in a youth work, tuition, or sports coaching role.

 Any successful applicant would be subject to DBS and Right to work UK checks so relevant documents will be requested.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
