Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible basis in the South Woodham Ferrers, Essex area!

A Cover Supervisor works in schools providing assistance to the regular teaching teams by taking classes and ensuring they can deliver the pre-planned lessons. A Cover Supervisor is in charge of the classroom management and makes sure that the pupils keep on task. They help the running of a school, by freeing up the regular qualified teaching staff to carry out essential marking, planning and preparation. This position is within a Secondary school and would need to be confident teaching Key Stage 3 and 4.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working with secondary age children
• Ideally an education graduate
• Be flexible and able to cover all subjects
• Suitable experience may be as sports coaches or youth leaders
• No specific qualifications needed

The pay;

• The pay is up to GBP350 per week, depending on experience.

Work for this role often comes in on daily basis, so you will need to be flexible. However, if you are good the job is regular and it may even turn into a permanent position. Many people use the role of Cover Supervisor as a kick-start to a teaching career!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
