Are you looking to become a teacher? Would you like to gain some hands on experience of what is it like to be a teacher and utilise your skills within a classroom? This role is very rewarding and can kick start the incredible career you have always wanted.
Teaching Personnel are seeking a cover supervisor for a thriving secondary school based in Canvey Island. As a cover supervisor you will be required to cover various subjected lessons, supervise children within small groups and manage a classroom ensuring children remain on task and focused on the work set.
Do you have any specific qualities?
- Do you have specific knowledge in wither core subjects
- Have Maths and English at grades C / Level 4 or above
- Have knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Are passionate about working with children and supporting them
- Are confident taking on a whole class of pupils
- The ability to work with challenging behaviour
- Aspiring to become a teacher
- Hold QTS, NQT or Degree relevant to education
- Have good communication skills
- Are flexible and reliable to work Monday to Friday
- Have good time management and the ability to think on your feet
The ideal candidate will have experience within;
- Working within education
- Youth work
- Working with children
What Teaching Personnel can offer Cover Supervisors:
- Weekly pay of GBP300-GBP350 per week, however long term rates can be negotiated on your behalf
- Access to unique CPD opportunities to increase your qualifications and knowledge of the field such as: Autism Awareness, Safeguarding and Team Teach
- An experienced consultant along with our dedicated on call service
