Cover Supervisor- Huddersfield

We are looking for Cover Supervisors to work at a popular mixed school located in Huddersfield to start in January 2021

You will be required to cover a range of subjects from Years 7 to 11, including overseeing the completion of set work and manage the behaviour of students.

 You must have experience in a similar role or have at least 6 months experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School.

 You must be flexible and adaptable and enjoy working with young people.

You must demonstrate:

 • Confident in Classroom Management

 • Experience of working as a Cover supervisor at secondary level

 • Excellent General subject knowledge and a passion for Education

 • Flexibility, resilience and excellent organisational skills

 • An ability to be a strong team player

 • Open to covering a wide range of subjects

Successful candidates will have a positive attitude, be committed to enhancing children's learning and will be passionate about their specialist subject. The school we work with look to establish an aspirational culture of high expectations for all and has created a learning environment that inspires students to become ambitious life-long learners. The successful Cover supervisor candidate will positively follow the school's ethos.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
