Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit Cover Supervisor to join a high-performing Secondary School in Milton Keynes.
ASAP start and Full-time commitment required between 8:30-4pm.
The School:
The Academy opened its doors to a small cohort of students in 2005 and is now a well-established, successful Secondary school and Sixth Form with over 1500 students aged 11-18. They are a proud founder of a successful Trust in Milton Keynes. We work very closely with this Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school which is well on the way to an Outstanding grade. They are commutable from Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire.
The Role:
As part of joining the school as a Cover Supervisor, you would be responsible for covering lessons across KS3 to KS5 across various subjects. You would be an integral part of the Cover Team in the School and build great relationships with Students and support them through their journey in Secondary School, whilst gaining further experience in the classroom. This is the perfect first role for a Graduate.
You would be widely supported by the Cover Manager and Lead Cover Supervisor as part of this position.
The Contract:
The role is a full-time contract and you must be able to commit to 8:30-4pm. The role has a ASAP but flexible start and would continue until the Easter break (April 2022), with the likelihood of extension based on your suitability to the role during this time. It is initially a temporary role but there is a permanent position available if the suitability is right during your contract with Teaching Personnel.
The Pay:
Cover Supervisors receive a higher daily pay than Teaching Assistants due to the additional responsibilities involved. You can expect a weekly pay between £350 to £400 per week, equivalent to £1600 per month (before tax).
Are you suitable?
Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a school setting previously, but this is not essential. An individual with some experience working with children or young adults or a Graduate who is keen and willing to further their experience. You will also need to have a good level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE passes in English and Maths), a flexible approach to your work plus a resilient, positive character.
A background of working as a Cover Supervisor at Secondary Level and can commute to East MK area via car is desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
