Cover Supervisor - Wythenshawe - ASAP

Do you have aspirations of being becoming a secondary school teacher but lack the required experience and teaching qualifications? Do you live in Wythenshawe or surrounding areas of south Manchester? If so, a cover supervisor role could be perfect for you!

The role of cover supervisor is that of an unqualified teacher who will cover lessons in the absence of the permanent class teacher, across all subjects of KS3 and KS4. You will be delivering pre prepared work from the school to a class of pupils and ensuring they remain on task with this. This is the best way to gain invaluable secondary school experience if you are considering a career in teaching or applying for your PGCE!

Overview of the Cover Supervisor opportunity:

  • Cover supervisor work - temporary role, full and part time opportunities available
  • Work around your own availability - access to your own online diary
  • Immediate start
  • Take full classes in the absence of the class teacher (due to sickness, training)
  • Delivering pre-set work and ensuring pupils remain on task with this
  • Earn up to £350 per week!
  • Great way for graduates and aspiring teachers to gain secondary school experience

The secondary school you will be working at as a Cover Supervisor is a large, mixed comprehensive school based in the Wythenshawe area of south Manchester, making it very accessible for both drivers and those on public transport. The school is very supportive of incoming support staff and you will report to the cover manager each morning on arrival to be briefed on your responsibilities / timetable for the day.

To apply for the role of Cover Supervisor in this Wythenshawe based secondary school, please apply with your CV via the link below. We look forward to receiving your application!
