Do you have experience managing young people and wish to develop this in a classroom setting?

A popular and vibrant secondary school are currently looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to join their support team on a flexible temporary basis to support the school with planned and unplanned teacher absences. The school is heavily oversubscribed this academic year with over 1,000 pupils on roll which has only increased the demand for lesson cover and so we can keep you as busy as your availability allows!

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for covering lessons in the absence of teachers and managing the classroom appropriately. All work is pre-set by the school so it’s just a case of ensuring pupils remain on task with this. The school’s working hours are around  8.30am to 3pm.

No previous experience in the classroom or subject knowledge required for the role of Cover Supervisor, just educated to degree level ideally and any work with children being advantageous! The ideal candidate for the role of Cover Supervisor will be confident and have good behaviour management.
