COVER SUPERVISOR (COVER TEACHER/ SECONDARY SUPPLY) 

Full time

Preston 

To start ASAP

GBP57 - GBP75 per day

 

Teaching Personnel is working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated secondary comprehensive in the South Ribble (Preston) area, seeking experienced cover supervisors to begin ASAP, as it’s an extremely busy time of year. This school is over-subscribed with an excellent reputation in the local community, and was praised in their recent Ofsted report for their clear vision and determination in their transition to an ‘Outstanding’ school. Standards of behaviour are high and Ofsted also praised the relationship between staff and pupils.

The school is seeking experienced cover supervisors who:

* are confident and familiar with classroom work and covering pre-planned lessons.

* are keen to contribute and adapt to the school's needs.

* can work as part of a team and on their own initiative.

* are reliable.

This role will be on an ad hoc basis initially with the option for ongoing and regular work in the future. The school offers an excellent standard of training and mentoring.

This school prides itself on its high expectations for all students, and uses a House system and leads regular reward trips to motivate pupils. The school site is modern and well-equipped over 7 acres of land, with particularly generous facilities for sports, Science and DT. It's located close to the M65 and has easy access via public transport with a train station nearby.

In order to be considered for this Cover Supervisor position you will need:

* Enhanced DBS on the update service (annual subscription) or be willing to apply for a DBS.

* An updated CV, covering the last 6 years of employment, including education.

* A legal right to work in the UK
