Cover Supervisor – Salford

Are you looking for a full time Cover Supervisor role at a ‘Good’ School in Salford?

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a full time Cover Supervisor on behalf of one of our partner schools in Salford, starting from January 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to join an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school at an exciting point in their development. Initially on a fixed term contract as an introduction to the role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to earn a permanent contract ahead of the 2020/2021 academic year.

  • Full time Cover Supervisor role from January 2020
  • Role initially until the end of the academic year (July 2020)
  • Introduction to permanent contract ahead of the new academic year
  • Ofsted rated ‘Good’ secondary school in Oldham
  • Close to several public transport links
  • Earn up to GBP70 per day (based on previous experience and qualifications)

Our partner secondary school is located in the Weaste area of Salford, close to Salford Quays and is smaller than average with fewer than 800 students currently enrolled. The school moved to their new state of the art building in 2012, and in their most recent Ofsted inspection in 2016, the school was rated as ‘Good’ with the senior leadership team being identified as being particularly strong.

“We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and passionate Cover Supervisor from January 2020. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner with drive and commitment and an unrelenting focus on the progress of all of the students throughout the school.” Principal.

As a Cover Supervisor at our partner secondary school in Salford, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom management of students in the absence of class teachers. This will involve managing the behaviour of pupils whilst they are completing set work, producing a safe, secure and constructive learning environment in line with teachers’ lessons plans. The successful Cover Supervisor will liaise with various members of staff including Heads of Departments, making sure they follow the school’s behaviour and safeguarding policies.

If you would like to apply for this post as a Cover Supervisor, please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
