Are you currently looking for a Cover Supervisor role?

Teaching Personnel are working alongside Secondary schools in Salford to recruit Cover Supervisors for the new academic year. Our client schools are located across Salford and are easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Bury and central Manchester M602 and A57. For non-drivers, the school can be accessed by a number of public transport links from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester such as Bolton and Bury.

A Cover Supervisor position is the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses. This position is also perfect for candidates who are looking for flexible work, alongside another role or current course.

  • Several full-time and part-time roles available from September 2019.
  • Flexible, day -to-day cover work available.
  • Support pupils at various levels of learning ability.
  • Opportunity to work in a number of Secondary schools across Salford in order to broaden your experience.
  • Earn up to £300 per week, depending on your previous experience.

Within this role the successful applicants will hold a number of responsibilities including;

  • Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers.
  • Managing behaviour and ensure tasks are completed.
  • Supporting students who require additional support across a range of subjects.
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of pupils varying in ages (11-16) and ability.

Application requirements

  • Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education or transferrable skills from a similar role.
  • Any experience with learning or behavioural difficulties will also enhance your application however, this is not essential.
