Cover Supervisor

As this is the busiest time of year for supply work due to short term sickness, absences, school trips and course cover, our client school are looking for multiple members of staff to cover a variety of lessons.

Working as a cover supervisor in our client school will involve:

• Covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the teacher.
• Monitoring behaviour in line with the school behaviour policies.
• Ensuring all students are supported and complete the work set for them.
• Covering a variety of subjects.
• Working with children at varying lessons of learning ability.

To be considered you must have transferable experience supporting young people in a similar capacity. No specific teaching qualification is required as all work will be set and you will simply be required to deliver the work whilst you supervise the classroom.

Our client school is based in Salford and has been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The school is easily accessible from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Prestwich and central Manchester via the M62 and A580. For applicants who do not drive, the school is also accessible via several forms of public transport from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
