A perfect opening for a Geography teacher KS3/KS4 in a Tameside school. They are a constantly improving multicultural school where learning is strongly valued and at the heart of all they do.

Not only will you be required to deliver Geography, you will aid students to become well-rounded and decent young people with real strength of character, aspiring to make a positive contribution to their society.

The purpose of the curriculum as a whole is to give students knowledge of significant places including their physical and human environments, enabling them to understand how these interact with one another.

A range of themes are explored, which enables students to discuss and develop their ideas through a number of key topics and questions ensuring students can work out how the world works and how it can and will change in the future.

The school is ideally placed for travel with the M67 3 minutes away and merely 3 minutes away from 2 train stations.

Delivering the KS3 curriculum you must intend to provide a good foundation and smooth transition for those who opt at GCSE as well as developing a love and understanding of Geography. At KS4 you will be responsible for teaching the AQA GCSE Geography syllabus and furthering.

Pay scales from £28,000 to £43,685, this is dependent on your experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
