Job description

Role Overview:

  • Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 to Post-16 during teacher absences

  • Support delivery of PSHE, Life Skills, and Preparing for Adulthood activities under teacher guidance

  • Manage behaviour and maintain a calm, safe learning environment

  • Work closely with SEMH students, adapting to their individual needs

  • Assist teaching staff by preparing resources and supporting classroom organisation


Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in SEMH or SEN settings preferred

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • Ability to follow lesson plans and engage students positively

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach

  • Commitment to supporting vulnerable learners and working as part of a team
