Cover Supervisor

I am currently looking to recruit a full time Cover Supervisor for a permanent position at my client secondary school based in the Leeds area. This is a temporary to permanent position where you will cover a wide range of lessons throughout school where needed to make sure pupils are on task as much as possible. Overview of the role:

• You will have a holistic approach to teaching and learning with the ability to build positive working relationships with both staff and pupils.
• You will work closely with your colleagues to plan and deliver high quality sessions designed to encourage positive interaction and raise self esteem.
• You will have the ability to promote good practice in a professional and inclusive manner. 
• You will ideally have a background in working with young people or adults with challenging behaviour and have worked in educational or health and care settings.
• You will be working either on a one-to-one basis or with small groups based on the pupils identified as needing support in this area.
