Teaching Personnel is recruiting a confident and dependable Cover Supervisor to support Secondary Schools across Kettering.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will help ensure students remain engaged in learning during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Classroom – Creating a positive and focused learning environment where students can succeed.
  • Supervising Pre-Set Lessons – Delivering work that has already been planned by the regular class teacher.
  • Supporting Student Learning – Providing guidance, answering questions, and encouraging students to stay on task.
  • Upholding School Expectations – Following school behaviour policies and maintaining high standards of conduct.

Requirements

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • The legal right to work in the UK.
  • Professional references from previous employers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
