Cover Supervisor

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Cover Supervisors for a secondary school in Kirklees. We are looking for motivated, resilient and enthusiastic candidate’s to join our bank of Supply Staff on a day to day, short term and long term basis.
Previous experience within education is desired however similar experiences within different settings will be considered. A Cover Supervisor is there to support the class when the teacher is absent, taking on set work and managing the behaviour of the students. A Cover Supervisor is the leader of the classroom, they are to take charge and keep the students on task – but are not classed as a teacher.
Typical School hours are anywhere between 08:00-15:30, speak with your consultant regarding the hours you can work and we will find something suited to your needs.
You will also be required to have an up to date DBS that is on the Update Service, if you do not have this then you will be required to undertake one through Teaching Personnel
We are looking for candidates who: -
Have a degree within any subject that has transferable skills within a classroom
- Have recent experience working as a Cover Supervisor or Tutor
- Are confident, pro-active, patient and punctual

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
