Teaching Personnel is working with a range of welcoming and high-achieving secondary schools in Brent to recruit reliable and confident Cover Supervisors. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced classroom support staff looking to gain hands-on experience leading lessons across the curriculum.

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll ensure students remain engaged and on task by delivering pre-prepared work in the absence of the usual class teacher.

The Role:

• Supervise whole classes during teacher absence, ensuring learning continues

• Deliver pre-set work and manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Support students with questions and maintain a positive learning environment

About You:

• Ideally educated to degree level or with school-based experience

• Confident leading groups of secondary-aged pupils

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills

• Adaptable, reliable, and professional

• Passionate about education and supporting student progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
