We are working with a number of welcoming secondary schools in the area who are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join their teams.
About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of class teachers. You will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervising classes during teacher absences
-
Delivering lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task

Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
-
Providing feedback to the teaching team on pupil progress and behaviour

Supporting students in their learning and acting as a positive role model
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with young people (schools, coaching, youth work, etc.) is highly desirable

Excellent communication and classroom management skills
-
Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach

A genuine interest in supporting young people’s education
-
A degree qualification is advantageous but not essential
