Full-Time Cover Supervisor (Temporary Cover) – Secondary School, Chorley
Location: Chorley
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (3rd November 2025 – 27th February 2026)

Start Date: Monday 3rd November 2025
End Date: Friday 27th February 2026

Are you confident, reliable, and looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting?

A welcoming and well-organised secondary school in Chorley is seeking a Full-Time Cover Supervisor to support teaching and learning across the school from November 3rd until February 27th.

This role involves supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with the work set and maintaining a positive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people (in education or similar settings)

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Confidence delivering prepared lessons and managing behaviour

  • Flexibility and a proactive approach to supporting learning

  • A desire to gain further experience in education (ideal for aspiring teachers)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
