Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a Secondary Alternative Provision in the Burnley to support with the recruitment of a team of Cover Supervisors available for flexible cover needs.
- Full time and part time Cover Supervisor positions available
- Pay rate starts at £90+(dependant on experience)
- Previous experience working in a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential
In order to be successful in this role it is important that you are able to deliver pre-planned lessons confidently to classrooms of students of the age range 11-16. As this is an Alternative Provision the children will display signs of challenging behaviour and disengagement, therefore, managing student behaviour in a calm manner is essential.

This role is perfect for anyone who has experience working alongside students in a coaching or tutoring background, has experience working as a Cover Supervisor or a Teaching Assistant or for teachers who are looking to work within a school setting without the usual responsibilities that are involved with teaching.
