Cover Supervisor – September Start
Are you confident leading a classroom and looking to take your next step in education? We’re recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school on a full-time basis based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with classroom experience who wants to make a real impact. Cover Supervisors step in when teachers are absent, delivering pre-prepared lessons, managing the classroom, and ensuring students stay engaged and focused.
What you’ll do:

Supervise classes during teacher absences across a variety of subjects
-
Deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils stay on task

Manage behaviour and maintain a calm, productive classroom environment

Provide feedback to teaching staff
What we’re looking for:
-
Degree-level education (or equivalent)
-
Experience leading a classroom or working with young people (e.g. in a school, camp, youth group, or tutoring role)
-
Confident presence, strong communication skills, and the ability to think on your feet

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
