About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Basingstoke starting September 2024. This role involves delivering pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and age groups (KS3 and KS4).
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- Supporting students in their learning and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Ensuring all work set by the regular teacher is completed and collected for assessment.
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Have a passion for working with young people and supporting their education.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.
- Be adaptable and able to engage with students across different age and attainment levels.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification (this position is also suitable for unqualified teachers).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
