Cover Supervisor - Heywood

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a large secondary school in Heywood that require a Cover Supervisor to join the school at the earliest convenience. This is a full time position and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year with the school expressing there will be an option for a permanent contract for the incoming Cover Supervisor in September.

  • Full time position as a Cover Supervisor supporting the absence of the class teacher
  • Earn a competitive wage of up to £350 a day, dependent on experience and responsibilities

Our client school is a large secondary school based in Heywood, a short distance from major public transport links to the city centre. The school has an excellent reputation in the local community with it being praised as a supporting and welcoming environment for both pupils and staff. The school is continuously improving and is on its way to become one of the best schools in the local area and this can be reflected in the amount of parents seeking a place for their children in this school. With state of the art facilities throughout the school, the incoming Cover Supervisor can benefit from excellent teaching and learning provisions throughout.

As a Cover Supervisor you will step in to the teachers shoes for the day as you deliver pre set lesson plans to the pupils and assist them with any additional needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEMH or SEN related. You will be required to cover a wide range of lessons as a Cover Supervisor as you support the school when planned and unplanned absences arise.
