Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in keeping students engaged and learning in the absence of their usual teacher. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
• Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
• Supporting students with questions or activities where needed
• Reporting back on student progress and classroom activity to teaching staff
• Maintaining a calm, focused atmosphere for all learners

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Confidence to lead a class and manage behaviour positively
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A calm, professional manner with a proactive attitude
• Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, tutoring, school support) is desirable but not essential

What You'll Need:

We’ll support you in securing:

• EWC Registration (Learning Support Worker category)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or help applying)
• Two recent references from relevant roles
