Cover Supervisor – Secondary School
Location: Brent, London

Salary: £95–£120 per day (based on experience, inclusive of holiday pay)

Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining learning continuity by delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting student engagement during teacher absences.

The Role
• Supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3–KS4)
• Ensure positive behaviour and a focused learning environment in line with school policies
• Provide clear instructions to students and keep them on task
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and subject areas
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour

About You
• Confident communicator with strong classroom presence
• Previous experience working with young people (schools, tutoring, youth work, sports coaching) is desirable
• A degree or strong academic background preferred
• Calm, adaptable, and professional under pressure
• Committed to safeguarding and student welfare
• Willingness to undergo full vetting including enhanced DBS checks
