Job description

Do you have the experience and passion to work within a school to help it run smoothly and give children the best chance to succeed.

Teaching personnel are looking for a dedicated individual for a cover manager role at a secondary school in Northampton.

The school were given an Ofsted inspection of Good which is brilliant.

This is a full time role.

Starting September 2025

 

About the role 

You will be responsible for recording staff absence and consulting with staff agencies to book supply teachers.

Directly cover staff when required.

Perform the duties of a cover teacher during the absence of a class's teacher.

Contribute to the evaluation of work set for cover lessons

Provide feedback on learning activities

This is a secondary school in Northampton area.

Year 7 - 13

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
