Computing Teacher – Secondary School in Denton
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS) | Temporary or Permanent Opportunity

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Denton is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Computing Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about digital literacy, coding, and preparing students for a tech-driven future.

Whether you’re an experienced Computing specialist or an ECT, this is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a well-resourced department within a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, including topics such as programming, cybersecurity, and data representation

  • Plan engaging, accessible lessons that stretch and support all learners

  • Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress

  • Promote digital literacy and responsible technology use throughout the school

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities like coding clubs or digital workshops

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Specialism in Computing, Computer Science, or ICT

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for IT education

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Experience teaching GCSE Computer Science is highly desirable
