Hounslow based Independent Catholic School hiring Computing Teacher - £130-£240 a day

An 'outstanding' Independent Catholic school based in Hounslow are currently looking to hire a Computing teachers to start in September. Working on a full time basis, this role is to work till the end of the academic year with an option to go permanent.

The role:

  • Computing teaching position available in an 'outstanding' Independent Catholic school
  • Full time role; 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Position starting in September and will be for the whole academic year, performance dependent
  • Daily pay rate of £130-£240 a day depending on education and experience
  • Responsibilities include; planning lessons, marking & assessing work

Requirements:

  • All teachers require a PGCE or QTS
  • Experience teaching Computing at key stage 3 to key stage 5 level is required, working with HTML, C+, C++ or similar
  • Any previous extra curricular activities would be welcomed as well as the ability to speak languages
  • It is a full-time role; 5 days-a-week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Pay range from £130-£240 a day depending on the teaching experience and qualifications
  • This position would be, at a minimum, till the end of the academic year
  • Would be expected to teach English literature or language at KS3-5 level and any extra-curricular experience would benefit the candidates the application
  • ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
    • An Enhanced Child work force DBS on the update service, or the willingness to apply for one
    • Two Educational based graded references (performance based), dated in the last 6 years
    • A full and detailed 6 year career history
    • Right to work in the UK

The School

This lovely Catholic school, based in Hounslow, is easily accessible via public transport being a 5 minute walk from the station. The Senior Leadership looks to promote a rich and diverse curriculum. With their modern facilities they aim to sustain their high standards whilst maintaining the religious aspect of the curriculum.

Although there is an emphasis on Catholicism, they do put equal importance on secular subjects and religious involvement is not imperative.
