Join a recently refurbished secondary school in Salford known for its unique learning methods and strong behaviour management.
- Full-time Computer Science teacher.
- Required from January 2021 (maternity cover).
- Teaching a full timetable up to GCSE level.
- Full planning and marking responsibilities.
- Paid to teaching scale point (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).
This position has arisen due to a staffing gap and will incorporate teaching Computer Science across both KS3 and KS4. The successful Computer Science teacher will join an established team of specialists and will have access to their own technology suite and classroom.
Situated in the Salford area, our partner secondary school can easily be reached via several public transport options and via car due to being close to the M60 motorway from areas such as Bolton, Swinton and Worsley.
It is essential that the incoming teacher has experience teaching Computer Science across both up to GCSE level and can deliver lessons that stretch and challenge learners of all ability levels. Experience of teaching other aspects of the IT curriculum is desirable but not essential for those applying for this role.
