College Teacher
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Teacher to join our team at an SEN college, supporting learners on the PACE (Pathway to Adulthood, Citizenship and Education) programme.
This is a long-term position, starting after the February half-term, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and supporting young people as they prepare for adulthood.
Working Hours:
Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Dependent on skills and experience

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual learner needs

Support students with a range of special educational needs
-
Deliver learning focused on functional skills, citizenship, and independence

Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
-
Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families
-
Assess progress and adapt teaching to ensure all learners can succeed
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with learners with SEN
-
Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning
-
Patient, flexible, and learner-focused approach
-
Committed to meeting the needs of all children and young people

Relevant teaching qualification or equivalent experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
