Intro: Teaching Personnel is looking for a 6th Form Teaching Assistant to join one of our colleges in Manchester.

Job Duties:

• Assist teachers in delivering lessons to 6th form students
• Support students with literacy and metamathematics skills development
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
• Assist with classroom management and student behaviour

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Previous experience working with students in an educational setting

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Solid understanding of literacy and metamathematics concepts
• Ability to effectively communicate with students and teachers
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working with 6th form students (not necessary but prefered)

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, temporary position
• Work within a college setting in Manchester
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
