Classroom support staff with BSL Level 2 for 'Good' Middlesbrough school

Teaching Personnel Teesside is currently recruiting support staff with British Sign Language Level 2. We have been experiencing an increasing demand from one of our client schools based in Middlesbrough for classroom assistants that can provide help for pupils with varying levels of hearing impairments. Though the school is a mainstream establishment, they have a substantial SEN department, where they aim to support pupils with a range of needs. With a track-record for great exam results, the school's main aim is to ensure that any pupils who may feel disadvantaged by any learning difficulties and/or disabilities are adequately supported so that they may reach their full potential. If you are passionate about helping young people succeed, regardless of their background and/or personal circumstances, then this role may be for you!

OVERVIEW

• Providing assistance for students with HI, and those with other SEN needs
• British Sign Language Level 2
• Providing academic and emotional support for students with disadvantaged backgrounds
• Ensuring that pupils are able to complete classwork at a pace suited to their individual needs
