Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Kettering
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (experience dependent)
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only), 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (times may vary slightly)

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Kettering. You'll be instrumental in supporting students with special educational needs, providing vital support both inside and outside the classroom environment.
What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering one-on-one or small group support to pupils with SEN.

Actively supporting student learning during lessons, breaks, and lunchtimes.

Collaborating closely with the class teacher on daily activities and lesson preparation.

Helping to maintain a positive, tidy, and safe learning space.

Fostering a sense of belonging and inclusion for all students.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be exceptionally committed, patient, and reliable.

Demonstrate strong initiative and a proactive attitude (this is essential!).

Have previous experience supporting SEN children (desirable, but not mandatory).

Must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service).

Hold permanent UK residency (an essential requirement for this position).

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (can be processed via Teaching Personnel).

Two of your most recent professional references (covering the last 24 months).

Overseas Police Check (if you have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the last 5 years).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
