A specialist secondary provision is seeking a committed and adaptable Teacher to support pupils aged 11 to 18 with a range of special educational needs, including autism, moderate learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health challenges.

The Role
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.

You will also play a key role in supporting behaviour, promoting emotional wellbeing and contributing to a positive learning culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual needs
- Adapt teaching strategies to support a range of abilities
- Monitor and assess pupil progress across academic and personal development
- Support positive behaviour using consistent and therapeutic approaches
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and wider staff teams
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience or strong interest in SEN education
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Resilient, patient and flexible approach
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to inclusive teaching and continuous development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
