Job description

This specialist provision offers a highly supportive and therapeutic environment for young people aged 10–18 with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs) and complex SEND.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated KS3 Teacher with QTS to deliver engaging and adaptable lessons to students with additional needs.

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons across core subjects

  • Support pupils with SEMH and complex learning needs

  • Build positive, trusting relationships to support engagement

  • Promote both academic progress and emotional development

  • Work flexibly across learning settings where required

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience or interest in SEN, particularly SEMH

  • Resilient, patient and adaptable approach

  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills

  • Passion for supporting vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
