SEN Teacher (QTS) – Post-16 Provision
Full-time | Immediate Start | 16–18 | 8.30am to 4pm

About the Role

An established specialist college in Yeovil is seeking an SEN Teacher to join their team, initially to cover a maternity absence.

There is a strong possibility this role could transition into a longer-term or permanent opportunity as the provision continues to expand.

  • Collaborative approach across education, care and therapy teams

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised and engaging lessons
  • Support communication, independence and social development
  • Contribute to individual learning plans and progress tracking
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams

  • QTS and experience supporting SEN learners
  • Creative, adaptable and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passion for post-16 and preparing learners for adulthood
