SEN Tutor – Post-16 Learning Support
Full-time | Immediate Start | 16–18 | 8.30am to 4pm
About the Opportunity
A specialist post-16 setting in Yeovil is looking for an SEN Tutor to join their team on an initial maternity cover basis.
Due to ongoing growth and curriculum expansion, there is potential for this role to become permanent.

Your Role
- Deliver tailored learning sessions and targeted support
- Encourage independence and confidence in learners
- Adapt resources to suit individual needs
- Support learners both in class and during external activities
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting SEN learners (education or care)
- Patient, flexible and positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in post-16 education and life skills development

DBS required (Update Service) or willingness to apply (£49.50 via the government DBS service).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
