Class Teacher –Sheffield & Barnsley | September Start or Immediate

Are you a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher looking to make a positive impact in local primary schools? Schools in the Sheffield and Barnsley area, are currently seeking flexible and committed teachers for immediate starts and September 2025 placements.


Location: Sheffield and Barnsley

Role: Primary Class Teacher (EYFS, KS1 or KS2 – based on experience)

Start: Immediate or September 2025

⏰ Contract: Full-time / Part-time | Temporary to Permanent Options


✏️ Role Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all pupils
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitoring and supporting student progress
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and leadership teams
  • Ensuring the safeguarding and well-being of all children

✅ Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
