Chorley School requires Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of one of our partner Schools in the Lancashire area, near Chorley. The School is smaller than average and pupils in School have a range of additional needs including; Autism, ADHD, SEMH Difficulties, ODD and Conduct Disorder. Many of the pupils in School will display very challenging behaviours and candidates must be confident when working with such behaviours. The School are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to help manage the behaviour in class and assist the pupils with their classwork.

The School is based on the outskirts of Chorley, Lancashire and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who display very challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a long term member of staff to join their growing team.

The role will be full time and it would suit a hard working, empathetic, experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant who is seeking a long term role in a forward thinking School. The role will be suited to candidate seeking a long term role as it may become permanent in the near future as the School are rapidly expanding.

The candidate must be; experienced in working with pupils with challenging behaviours, confident when working in stressful situations and passionate about enriching the lives of pupils with additional needs.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £57 - 67 per day
