Childrens' Support Worker

We are excited to be working with a Special Educational Needs provision who cater for children and young adults with learning difficulties and physical needs, to include Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy.

There are various roles available to work across the school and residential homes on site, working with various ages up to 25 years old. The school require the successful candidate to take on a supportive role in all aspects.

Requirements:

- Assist in implementing pupils' individual care plans within the classroom.

- Be prepared to undergo additional training as and when required.

- The pupils are encouraged to work independently, so patience is essential.

- A positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to forge positive relationships with the staff and pupils. 

- You will be educated up to a minimum of GCSE grades A-C in English and Maths.
