Chemistry Teacher - Sunderland

Are you a Chemistry specialist to KS5? Do you have experience preparing students for their exams, providing additional support to those who may be struggling with their studies? Are you available full-time after Easter? If so, this role may be for you!

Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of schools across Tyne and Wear; one of our client schools based in Sunderland wish to appoint a Chemistry specialist to their Science department on a full-time basis after Easter. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering curriculum to GCSE classes sitting their exams at the end of the summer term; you will be expected to consistently track the progress of pupils, ensuring to provide measured and constructive feedback. OVERVIEW

  • Working on a full-time basis, delivering Chemistry to KS4
  • Planning, preparing and marking classwork
  • Producing regular assessment resources for students-keeping record of their progress
  • Providing additional support or students struggling to attain at their expected rate
  • Working alongside a great department, who will provide the necessary assistance to make a smooth transition from the current teacher
  • Weekly rate of ÂŁ550-750
