Long-term / Full-time Position

Are you a passionate Chemistry specialist looking for your next exciting opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Lytham (FY8) area for a full-time Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science department from 13th April.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Chemistry lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
  • Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons that support pupil progress.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and supportive Science department.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry.
  • A proactive, dedicated, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners of all abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
