Chemistry teacher required at Outstanding college for long term cover, teaching Chemistry across Key Stage 5



- Full time Chemistry teacher required for September

- Ideally located a short distance from M62 motorway (off Manchester Road)

- Supportive Head of Faculty for new starters



Situated a short distance from the centre of Rochdale, our client college is well established and in recent years has topped the table for A Level progress made by students during their time with the college. The college offer full time and part time courses for the vast number of students enrol, with each student being fully supported during their stay. The college was recently graded as Outstanding across all areas, largely due to standards of teaching and learning and the effective leadership across SLT and middle management ensuring a collaborative approach to learning.



"We have a need for a qualified Chemistry teacher to join us on a temporary basis, teaching our students Chemistry across 16-19. We will support the incoming teacher with already established work schemes and resources initially, but as the position progresses we do have expectancies of the incoming staff member to contribute with departmental responsibilities"

To be considered for this post, all applicants must have completed a PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification specialising in Science, preferably in Chemistry and be confident teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 5. A commitment to completing a longer term post is a necessity.
