Teaching Personnel is seeking a strong teacher of Chemistry to cover a maternity within a secondary school in Gateshead, commencing around November time.

The Science department is renowned for being one the most supportive within school, often going the extra mile to ensure that supply staff feel supported during their placement.

They have specified that they would like a specialist able to deliver curriculum to KS5, as the teacher you will be covering is responsible for A-Level classes.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Be someone who can offer high quality leadership across a team, working collaboratively with the other staff within the department to deliver a great standard for teaching 
• Be committed to high quality planning and creative teaching and learning
• Have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Be willing to take on full departmental responsibilities, such as planning, preparing, marking and attending CPD
