Business Teacher in Bristol
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
Teaching Personnel is working closely with an RC (Roman Catholic) college in Bristol that is looking for a Business Studies Teacher to teach A-Level and BTEC for at least a term on a full-time basis from September
The college is based in south Bristol and has a very good reputation for high achievement and low levels of poor behaviour.
This is an RC school but you are not expected to practice any faith. All faiths are welcome and all that is asked is that the religious ethos of the school is respected. The students engage in religion by having debates and discussions and are encouraged to be curious and question everything. This is particular praised in its GOOD OFSTED report:
"Students benefit from excellent care and support which help their emotional and mental well-being. For example, students receive good support from the chaplain and specially qualified staff such as the college psychotherapist. The tutorial programme provides well for the spiritual, moral, social and cultural welfare of students."
The ideal candidate must have QTS and at least one year's UK experience teaching Business Studies at A-Level (BTEC beneficial but not essential). NQTs are encouraged to apply to this role as the school has the leadership team and resources to invest in and support a new teacher.
In return you will receive:
- Competitive pay - £110 to £160 per day
- The opportunity to get a permanent contract with the school
- High achieving pupils and low disruptive behaviour
- Full-time and long-term - secure work
- Easy to get to with great transport links
If this interests you, please get in touch immediately to register your interest. Shortlisting commences imminently so get hold of me as soon as possible so you don't miss out! I look forward to hearing from you.
