Business Studies Teacher - Newark - Full Time - Starting January 2021

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on the behalf of our high achieveing client secondary academy in the Newark area of Nottinghamshire who are looking to recruit a teacher of Business Studies on a temporary basis starting in January 2021 for 2 terms. This will be a temporary, long-term position, teaching Business Studies across KS4 and KS5 students, however, has the opportunity for a permanent contract for the successful candidate.

The role

  • Full time position - starting on Monday 4th January
  • You will be required to teach Business Studies to secondary school pupils between the ages of 11-18 years (KS4 and KS5)
  • Preparing and planning for lessons with marking required 
  • Following and promoting the school curriculum and pushing for highest attainment
  • Competitive rates of pay (after 12 weeks: AWR rate, paid to the scale the school would pay at directly)

Requirements for the role

  • Must have QTS and experience teaching Business Studies to A Level
  • Strong behaviour management 
  • Will have excellent subject knowledge and a desire to provide the best education to pupils
  • Will be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one on the update service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
