A co-educational secondary school in the South Manchester area is looking to recruit a Business Studies teacher to start with them at the beginning of the Autumn term on Wednesday 4th September 2019.
The successful Business Studies teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 with a focus on GCSE level in the main. This is a full time Business Studies teaching position with a timetable made up of primarily Business Studies with a little general cover involved. The successfully appointed Business Studies teacher is required to fill an open vacancy at this reputable secondary school. As this position is an open vacancy, there is the opportunity to progress onto a school based contract for the successful Business Studies teacher.
The school is ideally looking for an experienced Business Studies teacher who has a proven track record of delivering consistently high results. This position is available due to the existing teacher of Business Studies having to reluctantly relocate.
The Head of Business Studies said of the position:
"We are looking for a passionate subject specialist who is able to teach engaging Business Studies lessons. You will be expected to teach year 7 to 11, with a primary focus on GCSE level Business Studies. We are a small department of teachers but one which collaborates regularly and consistently shares resources and lesson ideas ensuring we are always working towards the shared goal of the highest quality lessons for our students".
Key aspects of this Business Studies teaching role:
- Pay is dependent upon payscale but will be between £23,720 - £39,406
- Full time Business Studies teaching position: starting 4th September 2019
- Potential to secure a school based contract for the right Business Studies teacher
- Primarily teaching KS4 Business Studies with additional general cover where required
- Highly regarded mixed secondary school in the South Manchester area
The school is located in the South Manchester area close to the M60 ring road. It is therefore easy to commute to for Business Studies teacher travelling from the central, south and east Manchester areas of Levenshulme, Chorlton, Stockport, Wythenshawe and Tameside. The school boasts fantastic facilities and offers a wide variety of CPD training courses throughout the academic year. The successful Business Studies teacher will also benefit from access to Teaching Personnel's partnership with local teaching schools and ongoing CPD courses.
