BSL teaching assistants needed for primary school based in Harrow

  • Competitive pay from ÂŁ65-ÂŁ80 per day

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work with hearing impaired pupils in an Outstanding Primary School in Harrow Weald? If so, apply NOW!

This role entails:

*Supporting pupils across in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 who have hearing impairments by signing in the class.

*Assisting pupils with classroom activities

*Helping the classroom teacher prepare the classroom and activities

*Some personal care (i.e changing nappies) may be included

About the school:

This is a multicultural, two-form entry Primary School that is located next to Harrow Weald station. It was Ofsted rated "Outstanding" and this is a school where children love to learn in many ways and show this through their impeccable learning behaviour, Willingness to take risks and to take on responsibility and leadership. Children are always encouraged to achieve beyond their expectations so the school are in search of an exceptional teaching assistant who can hit the ground running and is willing to go above and beyond. There is an excellent and supportive senior leadership team in place who are committed to training and developing those willing to learn.

The ideal candidate:

*You must have BSL Level 3 qualification

*You must be charismatic, bubbly and have a positive can-do attitude

*You must have at least 3 months experience supporting SEN pupils

*You must be willing to provide personal care when necessary

*You must be able to use your own initiative

*You must have a valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application
