Experienced BSL Teaching Assistant needed in a specialist school for the deaf in Wandsworth.

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a BSL TA that is able to support pupils who are deaf or have communication difficulties in a lovely specialist provision in leafy Wandsworth.

The school offer excellent professional development training and the opportunity to work with highly experienced staff who can help you progress your career in education.

  • BSL qualification – Level 2 or above
  • Right to work in the UK
  • 2 contactable references

  • DBS certificate on the update service

A successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an education environment
  • A strong desire to work with children/adolescents with additional needs or hearing impairment
  • Confidence and the ability to adapt to new environments
