Blackburn Behaviour Support Assistant required!

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Blackburn School who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a long term basis. 

The School are looking for a hard working, empathetic, resilient and confident Teaching Assistant to work alongside pupils who have a range of needs including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and challenging behaviours. The School are looking to appoint a full time Teaching Assistant to support the unique needs of the pupils and assist the class Teacher with classroom/behaviour management. Part of your role will require you to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils who may display difficult behaviours. 

The candidate must be; available full time, hard working, experienced in dealing effectively with challenging behaviours. The candidate must be looking for a long term role in a forward thinking behavioural unit and candidates will ideally hold a UK driving lisence as you may be expected to transport pupils off site for 1:1 tuition from time to time. 

The role will start as soon as possible and candidates must be willing to work Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4pm with an early finish on a Friday! 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day 

- Long term position available 

- Rewarding position supporting pupils with SEMH Difficulties
